Mobile GP clinic launches in Canberra to treat homeless

Street Side Medics runs free health clinics at Griffin Centre every Thursday. Patients receive checks, blood tests, medicines and specialist referrals.

Why it mattersHomeless people struggle to see doctors. Appointments are hard to get. Cost is a huge barrier. So serious illness goes untreated and gets worse. It becomes much more expensive to fix. This free clinic brings doctors to them instead.
