Three charged in theft of 34 firearms from NSW property
Three men were arrested and charged after police recovered firearms stolen from a Kanahooka property worth more than $60,000.
Police launched an investigation after a break-in at a Kanahooka Road property between 4pm on September 28 and 12.20pm on September 29. Thieves stole 34 firearms, ammunition and jewellery.
On October 1, detectives raided five homes across the Illawarra region and arrested three men aged 35, 46 and 47. A 35-year-old was found with three firearms and ammunition at Albion Park.
The 46-year-old at Horsley had items believed used in the break-in plus illicit drugs. All three were refused bail and charged with aggravated break and enter.
