Quillan Salkilld has landed the main event he wanted. The Perth lightweight will fight French opponent Benoit Saint-Denis at Afterpay Arena in Sydney on February 7, 2027, moving from a planned New York bout to a home crowd.
Salkilld has won six straight fights and comes off back-to-back finishes of established contenders Beneil Dariush and Mateusz Gamrot. Saint-Denis, a former French special forces soldier known as 'God of War', is a formidable test, he stopped New Zealand's Dan Hooker in the second round at UFC 325 in Sydney earlier this year.
