Volkanovski, 38, defends featherweight title vs undefeated Evloev
Alexander Volkanovski, 38 and on his second title run, faces undefeated challenger Movsar Evloev in UFC 333 featherweight championship.
The 38-year-old Alexander Volkanovski puts his featherweight title on the line against Movsar Evloev, who holds a perfect 20-0 professional record. Evloev's wrestling and relentless grappling style will test Volkanovski's defence, but the champion boasts a well-rounded game sharpened through recent fights with Islam Makhachev.
Volkanovski also fought Diego Lopes twice, and Evloev defeated Lopes by decision in 2023. In the co-main event, Petr Yan faces Merab Dvalishvili in a rubber match for the bantamweight title after Yan reclaimed the belt in December.
