Red Hot Summer tour returns to Hunter Valley with Jimmy Barnes

Jimmy Barnes and six other classic Australian acts will tour Red Hot Summer from January to March across eight cities.

Red Hot Summer is back with classic Australian pub rock. Legendary rocker Jimmy Barnes headlines the festival, which begins at Lake Macquarie on January 30.

The tour also features Perth bands Eskimo Joe and Birds of Tokyo, Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens, Sarah McLeod from The Superjesus, and acts Baby Animals and Chocolate Starfish. Barnes, now 70, has released 22 number-one albums as a solo artist and with Cold Chisel, more than any other Australian artist.

The festival hits eight cities between January and March. These include venues in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.

Tickets go on sale this Friday.
