Golden Dragon tests if WA prospects form one big gold system
Golden Dragon drilled to test whether four WA prospects form a single large mineralised system.
The company fired up drill rigs at its Cue Gold project in Western Australia's Murchison region to test a corridor stretching more than 3km. Recent surface work suggests its Curtis Find, Behring Bore, Coodardy and Piston prospects may connect into one large mineralised system, rather than separate targets.
The campaign will test whether a gold-in-soil anomaly traces back to solid bedrock ore. Previous drilling at some prospects returned strong grades: 12 metres grading 6.5 grams per tonne gold, and a 4-metre core grading 17.6 g/t.
The company also awaits assay results from 2833m of recent drilling at priority sites.

Why it mattersIf drilling confirms a major connected system, Golden Dragon could unlock a significant discovery in one of WA's premier gold regions.
AustraliaA discovery would accelerate exploration spending in the Murchison and add to Western Australia's gold production.
