Trump removes CNN from Air Force One press pool
CNN banned from boarding Air Force One for Tennessee trip, replaced by conservative news outlet Real America's Voice.
The White House removed CNN from the president's press pool for a weekend trip to Knoxville to watch college football. Real America's Voice News, a conservative outlet, took its place.
The move comes days after a judge temporarily struck down Trump's ban on CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House grounds. The judge's temporary ruling allowed the three outlets' reporters back inside, but did not address access to Air Force One or the pool.
The pool is made up of five major US broadcasters that rotate filming and sharing video of the president. When CNN was banned, the other four outlets refused to participate in solidarity.
