Five-time premiership midfielder returns to Wodonga Raiders
Dylan Clarke has returned to Wodonga Raiders after five years at Heidelberg. He was one of ten core players in five premierships.
Dylan Clarke left Wodonga Raiders in 2022 to join Heidelberg, one of the Northern Football Netball League's dominant clubs. He became one of just ten core players to appear in all five of Heidelberg's premierships.
He established himself as one of the best midfielders in the competition. Now 24, he has promised to return to the Raiders for many seasons, not just one.
Coach Kade Klemke says the signing is important for the club. Clarke's age, experience and long-term commitment matter.
The club finished last this year, winning just two of eighteen matches. Clarke can control clearances and will help younger midfielders like Archer Scammell.
The Raiders also hired forward Lincoln Reed and kept most of their young under-18 players. This helps them build lasting success.
