BMW launches i3 electric 3 Series in Australia Q1 2027 with two variants priced from $96,900.
The i3 40 xDrive pairs an 82.8kWh battery with dual electric motors for 275kW of power and a 0-100km/h time of 5.4 seconds. BMW claims a driving range of 566 to 710km on the WLTP cycle.
The higher i3 50 xDrive features a 108.7kWh battery, 345kW of power, and accelerates to 100km/h in 4.7 seconds, with a claimed range up to 912km. The i3 models come with BMW's new pillar-to-pillar Panoramic Vision screen, a 3D head-up display, heated seats, and 19-inch M wheels.
Buyers can add an M Sport Pro package for $4200. Alpine White is standard, with nine additional metallic finishes available for $2000 each.
