Newcastle students study through holidays to beat HSC stress
There are 250 year 12 students at Callaghan College, Jesmond. They are using school holidays to revise. Exams start on October 13.

She plans to major in French. Sophie Bullas spends hours each day on flashcards to get ready.
Trial exams helped make the HSC feel less scary than before. She also secured early entry to study primary education at UoN.
Millie Thomas sends essay drafts to teachers for notes. She hopes it will help her land a job in publishing or journalism after graduation.
