Prince William and Prince George watch Aston Villa lose Champions League match

Prince George, 13, watched Aston Villa lose 3-0 to Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Prince William took his son Prince George to watch Aston Villa play Barcelona in a UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday evening. The 13-year-old was on a mid-term break from Eton College, where he began boarding in September.

Before the match, the pair met Barcelona president Joan Laporta, who gave them personalised shirts. Aston Villa lost 3-0 in heavy rain, with William and George watching from the grandstand.

William has spoken of how important it is to create memories by bringing George to European matches. After watching a Champions League quarter-final in Paris last year, William said the experience was crucial for his son.
