2027 Toyota Fortuner gets sharper styling in Thailand test photos
Toyota's redesigned Fortuner gets squarer headlights and sharper styling ahead of its likely 2027 debut.
Spy photos show the 2027 Fortuner wearing new, sharper styling at the front and rear. The front has squarer headlights on both sides of a redesigned two-part grille.
The grille includes a mesh insert in a V-shaped opening. New fenders feature sharper creases.
The tailgate has been redesigned with cleaner details. The tail-lights are L-shaped and stretch across the full width of the car.
Like the current HiLux, the new Fortuner will keep many shared parts including doors and wing mirrors. This keeps development costs down.
Drivetrains are likely shared with the latest HiLux. That model offers a 2.7-litre standard petrol engine, a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel, and a 4.0-litre V6 in some markets.
A slightly more upscale interior than the HiLux is expected. The Fortuner will continue sales across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, where it remains Toyota's cheapest seven-seat SUV.
