Monaro Street upgrade hits another delay as council closes Lowe Street
The Lowe Street intersection will close for about two weeks from 27 September to upgrade underground infrastructure and resurface the road. The full Monaro Street project, which started in early March, has been delayed by at least eight weeks and an extra $3 million in costs after workers found a stormwater main at unexpected depth.
