Google rolls out unified shopping cart across its apps
Google's Universal Cart lets shoppers save items from different retailers in one place across Gemini and Google Search.
Google has released Universal Cart, now available in the US via Gemini and Google Search. The digital cart lets you save items from many retailers in one place instead of managing separate baskets.
The tool alerts you when prices drop or items come back in stock, saving time checking each store individually. Google can display promotional codes and help you pick the best payment method using cards saved in Google Wallet.
You can check out directly from Google or move items to each store's own checkout. The company plans to add Universal Cart to Gmail and YouTube later, but hasn't announced timing.
