Battle Giraffe ready to turn villain if Abu Dhabi crowd boos him

Cam Rowston, the Australian middleweight nicknamed Battle Giraffe, is prepared with different fight-ending speeches at UFC 333 depending on whether the Abu Dhabi crowd turns on him.

Aussie middleweight Cam Rowston enters UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi against Abus Magomedov with two speeches ready. Cam Rowston will deliver one speech if the crowd boos him, giving him the moment he has long waited for to embrace a villain character.

Rowston has admired heel personas from WWE since childhood and wants the platform to play that role. Cam Rowston has callouts planned but will only use them if the crowd turns against him naturally.

Before that, he must beat Magomedov. Rowston, nicknamed Battle Giraffe by City Kickboxing coach Brad Riddell, has studied the German-based middleweight and believes he can compete at the division's top level.

He trains with Israel Adesanya and Carlos Ulberg.
