Drone strikes kill four across Ukraine and Russia, including 14-year-old
At least four people died, including a teenager killed in a Russian strike on Kyiv, as both sides launched drone attacks overnight.
A Russian drone hit a 16-storey residential building in central Kyiv, killing a 14-year-old boy and injuring seven others. Ukrainian officials confirmed one person was also killed in the southern region of Odesa.
In return, Ukrainian drones struck Russia overnight, killing two people: one in the Perm region during an attack on an oil refinery, and another when a drone hit a passenger train. At least eight people were injured across multiple Russian regions, including Ulyanovsk and Voronezh.
Russia's Defence Ministry claimed its air defence units destroyed 592 drones. The strikes caused fires in non-residential buildings across Kyiv, according to emergency services.
