New hobby club launches Warrnambool's first Brickshow
The South West Model Club is hosting Warrnambool's inaugural Brickshow on December 5 and 6 at the Lighthouse Theatre.
The South West Model Club, formed earlier this year, is bringing Warrnambool its first Brickshow on December 5 and 6 at the Lighthouse Theatre, running 9am to 4pm. Club member Marcus Johnstone said the group created the club to build a family-friendly space where everyone felt welcome, including children with additional needs.
Marcus Johnstone's son has ADHD, and he said model trains help calm him. The event will feature a giant Lego train called the Big Boy.
Exhibitors are expected to travel from interstate to participate.
