Connor Rozee taps Premier League players' injury specialist
Port captain Connor Rozee is training in England with a specialist treating Premier League players' nerve and hamstring injuries.
Rozee suffered a serious hamstring tear in round two of the AFL season and missed the rest of Port's campaign. A nerve issue from the initial injury required specialist attention.
Rozee has now travelled to the UK to train with a specialist experienced in treating English Premier League players with similar injuries. The connection came through Port's director of athletic performance, Tim Parham, who previously worked at Arsenal.
Port waited nearly five months after Rozee's injection for scar tissue before sending him overseas, allowing the injury to settle and the specialist to work through a full program.
