Man arrested after sword attack leaves victim seriously hurt in Adelaide
A 52-year-old man was seriously injured in a sword attack at an Adelaide housing complex. A 42-year-old suspect was arrested.
Police arrested a 42-year-old man. An alleged sword attack had seriously injured another man in Adelaide's east.
The victim, 52, suffered serious injuries to his head and hands on Portrush Rd just before 9pm on Saturday. The victim was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The attacker and victim knew each other.
Police came to the scene at Barwell Flats. This is a public housing complex that has needed frequent police attention.
Officers from Eastern District CIB and the STAR Group made the arrest without incident.
