Albanese and Chalmers hit record lows in AFR RedBridge Accent poll
Albanese's net approval fell slightly to minus 27 per cent, his lowest result on record in this series.
The latest AFR RedBridge Accent poll surveyed 1000 voters and found Labor under severe pressure. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's net approval dropped 10 points in a month to minus 27 per cent, his weakest result on record.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers also fell sharply, down 9 points to minus 23 per cent, also his lowest approval. Labor's primary vote sank to its lowest recorded level at 28 per cent, one point behind One Nation on 29 per cent.
This is the sixth time in six months the lead between the two parties has swapped. Cost of living stays voters' top concern at 73 per cent.
Concern about economic management jumped 7 points in a month to 21 per cent. Labor trails the Coalition on economic management and has lost ground on housing and migration.
