Mark Nawaqanitawase considering return to Roosters after rugby union stint

Mark Nawaqanitawase is reconsidering a return to the Roosters after moving to rugby union.

Nawaqanitawase moved to rugby union with Saitama Wild Knights on a two-year contract. Over the last six weeks he has been rethinking that decision.

Roosters chairman Nick Politis and Nawaqanitawase's management met in Brisbane last Friday to discuss a possible return to league. Nawaqanitawase has enjoyed his time at the Roosters.

He is now seriously considering coming back when his rugby contract ends. His mother, Fiona, told reporters she hopes he stays.

The Roosters have treated the family extremely well. Politis is ready to offer Nawaqanitawase between 800,000 and one million dollars.

He might offer more to bring him back.
