Diana Ross brings first Australian concert in over two decades to Sydney
Diana Ross will perform her first Australian show since 2006 at Sydney's Centennial Park on March 5, 2027, during Mardi Gras weekend.
The 82-year-old music icon will take the stage at the Sydney Summertime concert series after more than two decades away from Australia. British dance favourites Groove Armada will support.
Ross shaped multiple eras of pop music across six decades, first as leader of The Supremes, whose hits like Where Did Our Love Go and Stop! In The Name Of Love remain iconic, then as a solo artist with massive success in soul, pop and disco.
Her influence is visible on generations of stars including Beyoncé and Michael Jackson. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, won a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Barack Obama.
General tickets go on sale November 11.
