Labor closes gap in Victoria ahead of November election
A DemosAU poll shows Labor has narrowed the Coalition's two-party lead to 52-48, down from 55-45 in August.
Two months before Victoria's November 28 election, Labor is gaining ground on the Coalition. The latest DemosAU poll, conducted from September 10-20 across 1,020 voters, shows the Coalition at 30% primary vote (down two points), Labor at 25% (up two), One Nation at 20%, and the Greens at 14%.
After preferences, the Coalition leads 52-48, but this represents a three-point gain for Labor in two months. Liberal leader Jess Wilson has a positive approval rating of +8, while Labor Premier Ben Carroll sits at −14.
One Nation leader Warren Pickering is at −18.
