Musk's ex refused $40M NDA; child support fell to $20k a month
Ashley St. Clair says she was offered roughly $40 million to sign an NDA and stay quiet about Elon Musk, but refused.
Ashley St. Clair claims she was offered about $40 million, a $15 million lump sum plus $100,000 a month for 20 years, if she signed a nondisclosure agreement and kept silent about Elon Musk. She declined.
Now she receives $20,000 a month for their two-year-old son, Romulus, which would total about $5 million over 21 years. St. Clair's account appears in "Musk," a new documentary that premiered in September and expanded to cinemas on October 16.
St. Clair said she refused the silence payment because she didn't want her son growing up feeling like a secret. Musk denies the offer was ever made, saying he has already paid $2.5 million and sends $500,000 yearly.
A court-ordered paternity test confirmed he is the biological father with 99.9999% probability.
