Computer vision tech catches costly logistics delays yards hide
Indrus is a Perth startup using AI to monitor logistics yards. It received funding from Purpose Ventures and other backers.
Ryan Liebregts and Dre Siwela founded Indrus in April 2025. They met in a robotics class at Curtin while studying mechatronics engineering.
The company uses computer vision and AI to track what happens in warehouse yards in real time. Yards have long been overlooked in logistics.
But as warehouses speed up, backlogs pile up outside the gates. Yard delays ripple through supply chains, causing missed appointments and overtime shifts.
Indrus has already tracked over 50,000 vehicles. It has logged more than 200,000 camera hours with major logistics businesses in the US.
The new funding will expand the team and roll out the tech to more Australian ports starting in 2027.
