Garma returns to Yolngu Country for four days
The gathering brings ceremony, culture and national discussion back to north-east Arnhem Land.
Thousands of people will travel to north-east Arnhem Land as Garma returns to Yolngu Country for four days from 31 July to 3 August. Held on Gumatj Country in the Northern Territory, it remains Australia's largest Indigenous cultural gathering.
The festival brings together Yolngu Elders, artists, young people, political leaders, academics, business representatives and visitors.
