Massive Attack musician arrested over Palestine Action protest sign
Massive Attack's Robert Del Naja was arrested Saturday holding a placard supporting Palestine Action outside UK Labour's conference.
Robert Del Naja from Massive Attack was arrested Saturday near UK Labour's conference in Liverpool while holding a placard reading "I OPPOSE GENOCIDE, I SUPPORT PALESTINE ACTION". Palestine Action is banned in the UK, making it illegal to show support.
Del Naja said he does not accept the offence. Del Naja was also detained in April.
With co-founder Huda Ammori and barrister Michael Mansfield, Del Naja asked Prime Minister Burnham to remove Palestine Action from the banned list. They said members are not terrorists.
