Qantas has completed a 24-hour and 24-minute test flight from Melbourne to France as it pushes Project Sunrise forward. The flight covered 23,057km without stopping and was the longest direct flight ever attempted by a commercial aircraft.
The test is part of a two-month campaign for future direct flights from Australia's east coast to London and New York.
