Foreign Minister: fresh US strikes won't change Iran's path or Strait control
Iran's Foreign Minister said renewed warfare with the US would not force any change to Tehran's positions or terms for peace.
Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that threats of a fresh US-Israeli campaign would not yield a different outcome. Trump said Washington may launch another "Epic Fury" attack, referring to the offensive that began in February.
Iran wants the US to return to a memorandum of understanding agreed in June that later unravelled. Araghchi said Iran now insists on keeping control of the Strait of Hormuz and removing foreign military forces from the region.
An April ceasefire halted the most intense fighting. Military flare-ups have lulled in recent weeks around the strait, a key route for global oil supplies.
