30 young tennis players from Albury-Wodonga head to Texas for elite training and college exploration.
Young tennis players from Margaret Court Tennis Academy are heading to Texas. This is the academy's 10th US tour.
About 30 players are going. Coaches Phil Shanahan and Cameron Meagher will lead them.
They will train daily at John Newcombe Tennis Ranch and play matches and do fitness sessions. Players will also visit colleges.
They will learn about college tennis pathways and standards. Players like 15-year-old Meera Shah from Albury and 14-year-old Ingrid Barnard from Bright are excited.
They want to improve their skills and explore futures in tennis. The trip leaves September 26 and finishes in Los Angeles.
There players visit Disneyland and Universal Studios before going home.
