Hepburn Burras line up nine signings ahead of rebuild after 16th-place finish
Hepburn Burras signed nine players including returning star Tom Brown and players from two-time premier Katamatite.
Hepburn finished 16th in the Central Highlands Football League last season. The club appointed two ex-AFL coaches, Nick Hind and Devon Smith, then followed with nine new signings.
Tom Brown, a former club junior and best-and-fairest, returned after a year away. Five players from Katamatite, a two-time league premier, also joined, including 68-goal forward Mitch Coleman.
The Burras kept most of last year's squad. Coach Hind said the mix of experience and youth would help the rebuild.
'We get nothing for free,' Hind said. 'We'll have to build on what's been a bit of a lean patch.'
