Your clock

• 14 days after the RTA's Notice of claim: Dispute with the RTA
• 14 days after the claim: Landlord's proof
• 7 days from the RTA's notice: QCAT after failed conciliation

The rule in Queensland

• Leave it clean for its starting condition, fair wear and tear excepted.
• The landlord must give you proof within 14 days of the claim.

If you do nothing in 14 days, the claim is paid. Telling the agent does not stop it.
