Ballarat police hunt three crime suspects across arson, theft, burglary

Police seek a red Ford Laser sedan seen before a ute fire and suspects in a theft and break-in attempt.

Ballarat police have renewed calls for public help with three separate crimes. An early 1990s red Ford Laser sedan was seen driving away from Waratah Grove about 1am on September 9.

Shortly before, a Holden Colorado ute burst into flames in what police treat as suspicious. Detectives believe at least two people in the sedan can help with the case.

In a separate incident, a man walked into an underground car park at a Creswick Road store on October 14. He removed a spoiler from a parked vehicle and drove off in a blue Ford Falcon with fake plates.

A man arrived at an Invermay Park business on August 15 in a light-coloured Mazda ute wearing a distinctive raincoat and Nike sneakers. He tried to break into a work shed.

Anyone with information or CCTV footage can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
