Woden Green apartments exceed resident hopes, win two awards
Woden Green residents report the complex exceeded expectations; Hindmarsh won two major building and landscape awards.
When Steve and Charmaine downsized from a four-bedroom Red Hill home to Woden Green earlier this year, they expected compromises. Woden Green delivered a "vertical village" where neighbours know each other.
Common areas buzz every day, and the couple uses the pool, library, dining room, and gym regularly. Trish and Andrew, another couple, say they entertain family and grandchildren more now than before.
They can walk to shops and restaurants instead of driving. Hindmarsh won first place for Best Apartments 8 Stories and Above (Master Builders ACT) and Best Landscape Architecture: Gardens (Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture).
Units remain available, including one-bedroom apartments with a dedicated study, two-bedroom apartments with views to Telstra Tower, and three-bedroom penthouses.
