Man United stuns Roma with second-half comeback to win 3-2

Manchester United came from 2-0 down to beat Roma 3-2 in a Champions League comeback.

Manchester United faced an overwhelming challenge at half-time, down 2-0 to Roma. The crowd was restless and fans angry at the ownership.

The team looked disorganised and leaked goals from poor defending. United emerged after the break with fresh purpose and found a winning formula: keep the ball in Roma's half.

Bruno Fernandes converted a retaken penalty after the referee ordered it again for encroachment. Matheus Cunha struck twice to turn the tie.

Cunha's first was a touch and finish following a Roma error; his second came off the near post after a pass from substitute Shea Lacey. Cunha was sent off in the 90th minute for a second yellow card, but by then United had won.

The comeback gives Carrick breathing room heading into Sunday's match against Aston Villa.
