Warriors face Lakers without Ziaire Williams
Lakers starter Ziaire Williams ruled out for tonight's game against Warriors due to left foot injury.
The Lakers will face the Warriors in NBA Cup play tonight without their 6-foot-10 wing Ziaire Williams. The team ruled him out six hours before tipoff because of left foot injury management.
Ziaire Williams is missing his second straight game with the same injury after sitting out Wednesday's win over the Clippers. When he played against Portland on Tuesday, Williams scored 11 points, grabbed four assists and recorded two steals in 29 minutes.
He's averaging 11.3 points on 57.1% shooting this season, plus 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game. The Lakers also remain without two other players: Cameron Carr (right oblique strain) and Adou Thiero (left knee injury management).
