27-year-old killed in two-vehicle crash west of Perth
Laurynhill Wambui was a passenger in a Toyota HiLux. She died at the scene on South West Highway near Balingup on September 28.
Laurynhill Wambui, 27, was killed when a HiLux collided with a Nissan Pathfinder on September 28. The crash happened on South West Highway in Balingup, 230 kilometres south of Perth.
Wambui had serious injuries and died at the scene. Her partner drove the HiLux.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged. The 18-year-old driver of the Pathfinder was taken to Bridgetown Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Wambui was a business system specialist. She studied at Edith Cowan University.
Her family is planning to return her body to Kenya, where she will be laid to rest. Major Crash investigators are looking into the crash.
