Kevin Morby returns to Australia next month to tour his eighth album, exploring his Missouri roots.
Folk-rock singer Kevin Morby arrives for an Australian tour next month. Little Wide Open comes from his Missouri farmlands and Kansas City suburbs where he grew up.
The album features Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, folk legend Lucinda Williams, and Taylor Swift's producer Aaron Dessner. Morby builds records around the places he lives in: Laurel Canyon (2016), New York (2017).
His lyrics explore the pull between loving home and needing to escape it. Morby recently became a father with musician Katie Crutchfield, better known as Waxahatchee.
