Dane Gagai lists Newcastle home after 11 years to rejoin Brisbane Broncos
The 35-year-old player is selling his Newcastle house for $1.39 to $1.49 million after completing his return to the Brisbane Broncos.
Dane Gagai has listed the Newcastle home where he raised his family for the past 11 years as he moves back to Queensland. Dane Gagai and his wife Kelly bought the four-bedroom house in Garden Suburb for $821,600 in 2015 and watched their three children grow up there.
The property overlooks Forest Hills Reserve and is now on the market for $1.39 to $1.49 million. Kelly said the family loved the quiet, walkable area where their kids could ride bikes to the playground.
Gagai finished his stint with the Knights in the grand final in September, playing 128 games for Newcastle after joining in 2012. He is returning to the Broncos, the club where he started his NRL career in 2011.
