Payne Haas stops by Kangaroos camp to catch up with mates
NRL star visited Kangaroos camp for lunch with teammates before pre-season training.
South Sydney recruit Payne Haas dropped into the Kangaroos' training camp on Monday to catch up, his left hand strapped after surgery, and grabbed lunch with former teammates Pat Carrigan, David Fifita and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui.
Haas wasn't there to answer a call for help from coach Kevin Walters. He didn't share information about Sunday's semi-final against Samoa.
Samoa was the team he had planned to play for before his injury ruled him out. Haas was warmly welcomed by some of the game's biggest stars.
He is recovering before starting pre-season with the Rabbitohs on Friday.
