Dragons release Josh Kerr, who signs multi-year Hull FC deal
Josh Kerr has been released by the St George Illawarra Dragons and will join Hull FC in England's Super League in 2027.
Kerr was released on Monday, his first day of pre-season with the club. The 13-year-old player approached the Dragons seeking a longer-term deal elsewhere, and the club agreed.
Kerr played 135 NRL games across two spells at the Dragons and also at the Dolphins. Reports indicate Kerr will join Hull FC, which includes former Roosters premiership winner Daly Cherry-Evans, on a multi-year contract.
The Dragons begin rebuilding under new head coach Dean Young after finishing last season in the wooden spoon position. Young is focusing the pre-season on fitness and fundamentals.
