Man killed in Brisbane road crash
A 30-year-old pedestrian was struck by a Volkswagen Golf at an intersection in Brisbane's western suburbs.
A man died after being hit by a car at the intersection of Beaudesert Road and Paradise Road in Acacia Ridge about 6.25pm on Wednesday. Police were called to reports a 30-year-old had been struck by a Volkswagen Golf.
Queensland Ambulance Service sent four teams to treat the man, who had injuries not compatible with life. The 50-year-old driver was assisting officers with their inquiries.
Witnesses who saw the crash or had footage have been urged to contact police.
