Mitch Norton reaches 400 NBL games, rare career milestone
Mitch Norton will become just the 54th player in NBL history to play 400 games when Brisbane faces South East Melbourne.
Brisbane Bullets veteran Mitch Norton is set to reach 400 NBL games, a milestone shared by only 53 other players in league history. Across 16 seasons, Norton has played for Townsville Crocodiles, Illawarra Hawks, Perth Wildcats and Brisbane Bullets, winning two championships with Perth in 2019 and 2020.
Mitch Norton averages 6.8 points, 2.5 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game while shooting 40 per cent from the field. Norton will join the likes of Jesse Wagstaff, Todd Blanchfield and Chris Goulding as active NBL players to have reached the 400-game milestone.
"The NBL was the biggest thing in Townsville, and that's all I wanted to do," Norton said of his long career in the league.
