Jangoo's century rescues West Indies from Bangladesh collapse

Amir Jangoo scored 111 to help West Indies reach 4-235 after collapsing to 3-27 on day one.

West Indies batsman Amir Jangoo hit an unbeaten century to lead his team's recovery in the second Test against Bangladesh. The visitors tumbled to 3-27 as pacers Hasan Mahmud and Taskin Ahmed claimed early wickets.

Jangoo's 131-run partnership with debutant Kevin Wickham steadied the innings. Wickham made 61 before falling to Hasan, but Jangoo kept attacking with 11 boundaries and two sixes.

Justin Greaves joined him as West Indies reached 4-235 at close of play. Bangladesh had won the first Test by eight wickets.
