Shubman Gill struck the fastest double hundred in one-day history, scoring 223 off 133 balls and staying not out. India completed the second-highest successful chase with an eight-wicket win over West Indies in Guwahati.
Gill, the world's top-ranked ODI batter, hit the quickest century and turned it into the fastest double hundred on Wednesday night. Rohit Sharma set the tone with a 72-ball century and shared a 255-run opening stand with Gill.
Sharma passed 12,000 ODI runs during this stand. West Indies had looked strong after scoring their first 405-run total in ODI cricket.
Campbell, Shai Hope and Amir Jangoo all made centuries. Campbell blasted a 65-ball century, the fifth-fastest by a West Indian.
