Western Sydney dad wins entire $60 million Oz Lotto jackpot

A Western Sydney man won the entire $60 million Oz Lotto jackpot from a last-minute ticket purchase.

The Woodcroft man almost didn't buy a ticket at all. The Woodcroft man went into the newsagency for a treat for his kids and on a whim picked up a ticket on the way home from work.

When he scanned it on his phone the next morning, he saw one winner had taken $60 million. The Woodcroft man's wife said it couldn't be them.

Then he checked the ticket he'd left in the fridge. The man was so stunned he couldn't move and didn't sleep that night.

He now plans to buy a house, set up his family's future, and possibly start his own business. More than 940,000 other winners across lower prize divisions shared almost $19 million.
