Litchfield returns from injury for second T20I
Phoebe Litchfield returns from hip injury to face New Zealand in the second Rose Bowl T20I at North Sydney Oval.
Litchfield replaces Tahlia McGrath after missing the final ODI against Bangladesh and Sunday's first T20I with a low-grade hip strain. Australia will bat first after losing the toss for the first time in five white-ball matches this month.
The hosts won the opener by two wickets but nearly collapsed chasing 163, slipping from 1-102 to 8-159 before scraping home. Allrounder Georgia Wareham acknowledged Australia's batting was reckless in that match.
New Zealand are unchanged and seeking their first T20I series win against Australia since 2017. The Rose Bowl trophy has been Australian property for 26 years but is now contested in T20I as well as one-day cricket.
