David Walliams attraction closes at Alton Towers theme park

The World of David Walliams opened in 2021. This themed section at Alton Towers has now permanently closed. No replacement plans have been announced yet.

Alton Towers in Staffordshire has shut the World of David Walliams attraction. It had opened in 2021.

The park's creative team worked with Walliams and publisher HarperCollins to develop the section. It featured four rides including Gangsta Granny: The Ride and Raj's Bouncy Bottom Burp.

The decision came after reviewing how the rides were run and what guests thought. Alton Towers said it will announce plans for the area once they are confirmed.
