Warriors coach Andrew Webster wins Dally M Coach of the Year
Andrew Webster won the Dally M Coach of the Year award. He guided the Warriors to second place despite major injuries.
Andrew Webster has taken out the 2026 Dally M Coach of the Year award, beating Newcastle's Justin Holbrook and Penrith's Trent Barrett. Webster guided the Warriors to second place in the regular season.
The team lost key halfbacks Tanah Boyd and Luke Metcalf, plus forward Jackson Ford to injury. The voting closed after the regular season, so the Warriors' straight-sets finals exit did not factor into the count.
Holbrook's Newcastle overcame the wooden spoon to reach the top eight under his leadership, which would likely have won had voting included the finals. Webster thanked his team and the Warriors' fanbase across New Zealand and Australia.
This is his second Coach of the Year honour; he won the award in 2023 after leading the Warriors from 15th place to the top four.
