Trendspek secures $6m to scale infrastructure monitoring
Sydney infrastructure platform Trendspek raised $6 million in funding led by OIF Ventures.
Trendspek was founded in 2019 by three former Qantas pilots. It builds 3D digital records of critical infrastructure like ports and energy plants.
The startup raised $6 million in funding led by OIF Ventures. This supports hiring, product development and overseas customer support.
Customers including NSW Ports, Vocus, Chevron and Woodside Energy have cut inspection costs dramatically using the platform. NSW Ports reduced full jetty inspection costs by two-thirds.
It also cut inspection time from months to weeks. The platform combines drone, robotics and handheld data into 3D models within hours.
This lets engineers spot defects and track changes. Revenue from critical infrastructure customers has grown 165% per year over three years.
Next, the team plans to use AI that spots likely problems and finds changes between inspections.
